Modern Coastal Build

Built directly on the waterfront, this 8,000-square-foot custom home was designed for clients who wanted a modern coastal residence that felt open, calm, and built to last. From the earliest stages of planning, every decision was guided by the property’s waterfront setting, the clients’ vision, and the technical demands of constructing a substantial home on a constrained site. The three-story, all-concrete structure is supported by 40-foot-deep helical concrete piles and elevated cast-in-place beams. Construction required careful coordination around the site’s coastal conditions, limited access, and neighboring properties. Each phase was deliberately planned to create a home capable of performing in a demanding waterfront environment.

Inside, the scale and complexity of the structure give way to bright, comfortable spaces with a distinctly modern coastal character. Open living areas, refined finishes, and a restrained material palette create a sense of continuity throughout the home. Large openings bring natural light into the interior and strengthen the connection between the living spaces and the water beyond. The completed residence balances substantial engineering with an effortless finished appearance.
